I wake up every day feeling like the luckiest girl in the world to get to do what I do for a living. I don’t take it for granted. I didn’t always want to be on radio. I actually went to school to be an Accountant but quickly realized that even though I was good at numbers, I was bored. So, I switched my major to Sports Management because I wanted to be a sideline reporter. I love sports and I wanted to be in the middle of all the action. In college, I got the opportunity to work with ESPN and I got to hold the light for a sideline reporter. That girl is now the host of NFL Sunday Countdown on ESPN. I learned a lot in those few hours and realized, I don’t think I want to do that either. That’s when I got a job at my local radio station as an admin assistant and just learned everything I could and ended up on-air and fell in love with Radio. I still finished out my degree and have a Bachelors in Sports Management and a Minor In Business.
I have a wonderful husband and we have a handsome Rottie/Pit mix that we rescued named Rhett. Let’s be real…he’s our baby! I have a huge soft spot for animals. If I could own land big enough to rescue all the animals I would do it! I love to be outdoors and go hiking. I can’t sing worth a lick but I can dance. I’ve been dancing on and off for around 20 years. I taught a competition Hip-Hop team while in college and a little after.
I love all genres of music, sometimes I feel like a walking jukebox and I am so excited to be part of the Mix 106.9 family!
